With over 20 years of restaurant and bar experience combined, Ryan and Isaac moved from Denver,Colorado, and opened Hombre y Lobo, meaning Man and Wolf in Spanish. With the two of them representing the Man, and their husky, representing the Wolf.

You can visit their other restaurant DiFranco’s Italian if you’re ever in the Mile High City!

A little about Hombre y Lobo

A little over two years ago we opened our doors to serve delicious Mexican food with a Buffalo twist. Owners Ryan and Isaac, moved to be back near family (with Ryan growing up in Niagara Falls) and brought with it their passion for Mexico. “We wanted to create a place where people felt at home and also felt like an escape on those cold winter days. Somewhere you’d know there’d be a party and the service rocked, while also getting to show Western New York some dang good Mexican food.” With Mexican family and also Mexico being their home away from home, they were excited to bring some of their favorite recipes to life. Inspired by Mexico. Made in Buffalo.

We make service and quality our number one priority. With most of our ingredients coming from less than 10 miles up the road, we do our best to be as local as possible, and as fresh as possible.

Not only do we put tons of effort into supporting local, we believe our staff should receive a living wage. This means we pay higher hourly wages than most restaurants or bars, and everyone shares in the tipping. Thank you for your support, it means the world!
